7.2 Is here What Happen In The MSQ

In this FFXIV blog post, I will discuss the major spoilers of 7.2 and the feelings I may have when reading the words. When I read every dialogue word by word, it is truly the most heartfelt message. The story I am going to present will not make sense unless you, the FFXIV player or watcher, look at the correct context. Everything I Type here is just all sorts of pop culture references.

First, I will say I still love FFXIV to the core. For this patch update, I love the short about who's controlling the Soulution 9 narrative. It doesn't mean that it is perfect "I will explain that later" However I am excited to see what the finale is if 7.3 will be the finale.

Secondly, one thing I forgot to mention was that Island Sanctuary has not been said since patch 6.3 lol. No update has been mentioned from the live letters. I haven't even come back to it yet and I don't expect myself to ever come back to that place lol. Cosmic Exploration is there Large prize money for them to write the wrong?

Lastly hearing Quazi FFXIV Podcast with Arthers last week. During his Podcast at 25:54 mark , he mentioned something about how the FFXIV content creators must come on a media tour and question all these things. And when he said that, I laughed so hard.

Because during the media Tour for DawnTrail," I am Super sorry lol lmao" They were all happy kissing Yoshi_P ass and not pressing on the real questions. A month later until now, they aren't happy with the MSQ and shit lol... Though some love the raids and such lol and it's like come on bro make the story better, please.

I think the next media tour every FFXIV content gotta press Yoshi-P with very very very tough questions to ask lol…and throw him off with a curveball question lol for him to kinda fluster. "No hate but it would be funny though lol"

What happened in the MSQ and Who did we see found at the abandoned Golden City?

It's quite a shocking revelation when you find out who's the real queen and who is not the real queen. It's kinda like Sleeping Beauty and the origin story around Fay Valintine from Cowboy Bebop.

I am still not sure who is this Calyx dude. He is intriguing, He is an apathetic character and presses towards the act of Preservation. I am still not sure what his true intentions are but He is the main Foe for this patch.

The one thing he did mention was that he knows that there are other worlds around the universe and dimensions across the ninth. Well, Alexandria does hail from the Ninth Shard.

He is aware of what's going on and muses to himself and he has an idea of how to move forward with his plan. Another world end? Maybe?

Newest MSQ Dungeon,New Trial, and The New Raids

My Small thoughts on New Dungeon And The New Trail

Underkeep MSQ Dungeon was ok? We were able to clear it

The Trail was good with its excellent music.

The Arcadion: Cruiserweight Division

We now understand where the story is going but here is the best summary from Mr. Happy lmao.

Raids 1 and 2 They are both a pain in the ass you must have fast reflexes and know your way around.

Raid number 3 is good since that one is where I failed less lmao.

Raid 4 was good too since no such surprising attacks happened in your face but a normal rotation.

So overall The first half of Patch 7.2 with the MSQ, Trail, and Newest normal Cruiserweight Raids are good but be careful don't miss on where the AOE's are hitting you.

Things That I like And Questionable Things

Things I like

The Story around Death and wishing to move forward was a huge topic around this short epic story. The music is really good, I love the newest trial music. I love the FFXIV players they're the most forgiving players even though I suck we try, try, and try again. I love the feeling.

Questionable things

someone did mention that Krile and Wuk Lamat are not the main Story focus for this patch meaning they may have their own feature story around Patch 7.3-7.5. Maybe some form of epilogue to close out each character's perspective. Another questionable being on Calix, Someone on Reddit mentioned that maybe he is another god being reborn in the endless continuing his cause to cause more havoc.

The Future/The End/TLDR

Overall It's a good short story that gives us a good opener on introducing us to a true villain and this revelation that reveals a partial truth on what's going on. Is it going to be a world-ending event? Where worlds collide in Avengers Endgame.

Yoshi_P Had said just last year in Paris Japan Fest and Gamescom that we may travel to another reflection or travel to the past that we may control a shogun etc. Also the possibility of incorporating a multi-universe.

Who knows? I just hope the story wraps up nicely in 7.3 and makes up for the mistakes by giving us an epilogue on all the characters and a good intro on what's next in 7.4 and 7.5 that will lead up to 8.0.
