As you know, Patch 7.3.8 is already here, meaning all the weekly lockouts are unlocked, so you can do it over and over again.

That time of year again to grind on items until 7.4

As you may know, the Fall Guys event is nearly over. You've 1.5 weeks left to grind the event and grab rewards.

Also, new Tombstones when 7.4 arrives

There might be a 7.5 part 1 and part 2, meaning that 8.0 may be released around March 2027.

Two Interesting Things

During the Korean Fanfest, Yoshi-p made a very, very important point on having another Realm Reborn. The question is, why, though?

Around Anime Expo 2025, Yoshi-P apologizes to Luk Wamat, the actor who said a bit too much on social media, lol.

My thoughts

Lmao….. the story is good but something went wrong with timing and who the character focus was “because it was all over the place for what’s it worth kate cwynar wanted krile to be somewhat important in the story but Luk wamat took a large amount of time. Like I said no bad blood between anyone on here it’s just too many ideas that went overwhelming for what it’s worth And because of ff16, time restraints, budget constraints, and whatever SE politics was being played and how two people said abit too much on social media that’s how 7.0 went down

So there wasn't any bad blood or hostile takeover; it was just that everyone was friends and taking ideas and suggestions from each other.I guess that's why 7.0 got kinda eff abit? Because of too many ideas that cobble together with last-minute things at the last second, who are shaping games for their own specific friend group.

Players Feed back

Others had said that they've been trying to release more content for more people, but it hasn't landed yet. Occult crescent patch still saw player drop. They didn't see anyone talking about quantum outside the first two weeks of patch. The deep dungeon is still a niche and hasn't attracted many people who weren't already familiar with it.

Cosmic is fates, 7.0 was written way too pg/family-friendly to the point that every region/culture was bland. The 7.0 story was straight up terrible; it did significant damage to so many groups. Wuk Lamat 90% of the time, but beyond that, the writing/dialogue was a huge step down from previous expansions It was absolutely terrible, causing significant damage to numerous groups.

The Future/The End/TLDR

There are things we need

More better rewards
Better Update cycles
More events in between the 3-month cycle update
Upgrade Tombstones up to 2,000

Hmmm, this whole idea was mentioned by Rising 2022 Naoki Yoshida: Indeed, another great change is about to visit the world, and it shall open the way to exciting new journeys.

The idea of going back in time and such would be intriguing.

With the Chinese mindset of taking over the online space for online gaming for Asia, especially Blue protocol IP with Tencent, and FFXIV mobile and the Korean Online gaming market is in a steady, I wouldn’t be surprised if Square Enix failed on the MMO IP" Meaning they might desperatly need help from tencent or any Chinese/Korean company could jump in a collaborative effort to upgrade their understanding of some sort with the Chinese/Korean market mindset.

And If it did.....

Thus the japanese had lose face all togtheir for the online gaming space and the whole japanese gaming sphere in shame

Don't Forget!!!
