One of my Favorites korean mangas
The God of Blackfiend is a good manga to kinda speedrun through. I found this Manga A year ago and stopped checking out until I got back to reading it. I'm currently reading it from the beginning up to the first 100 chapters. It does go back and forth with each story and ties up on why the villains are related to
The story is about A French Korean soldier who Iseaki into a high school boy senior who was bullied. He woke up in the hospital and found out his name is Kangchan. His parents are rich and live a great life. Throughout the story, for the first 5 chapters, he had to find out who he is and find a way to get to France. Suddenly, he had to fight his way through high school. He later found out that his other comrade was also iskei as a PE teacher. He said something similar as well. It felt like a nightmare. He woke up and realized he had a family. That's what made him calm down
After the First 10-20 Chapters, they finally found more of his old Comrades who kinda betray him. But soon, the one who betrayed was also his Friend and ally.
From fighting Gangsters, Bullies, to even the elites. It does everything it delivers. To the point where he joins the Korean Government doing covert missions.
My favorite thing about this manga is that after he gets his surroundings secure through the gangster hotel and the women he chatted up to get money to fund his own efforts on things. Kang took his parents and their parents' co-workers into a hotel and suddenly saved his parents' face since the co-workers realized that they aren't poor but hella rich. It was the greatest moment in Manwha history lol haha. Man, that was great.
Again, it's a good read, and I'm just going to re-read it once more to get a better bearing on the whole story forward. In about 200 chapters? Ongoing.
A second of Favorites
Tennage Mercenary is about a teenager going back to Korea since he was in an airplane crash where he lost his family. His name is Ijin. Injin was just 8 when the plane crash happened, and after that, he was trained as a soldier, doing all sorts of work. For saving soldiers to protect people and getting revenge for them. I assume the place where he crashed must be somewhere in Southeast Asia, probably Myanmar (Burma)?
After rescuing a Korean soldier, he finally got back home to South Korea, meeting his sister and Grandpa. Throughout the first 10-30 chapters, he basically beat up his sister's bullies. Join the SS corporation as a bodyguard escort and attend numerous escort missions. Chapter 30-187, He basically lived a life fighting and saving people. We soon found out that his code name is 001 and the group found him, but one lady is somewhat a good and bad guy.
Even though his sister knew he was somewhat in the SS corporation, not knowing that he did extra Missions, she knew he was strong and incredibly nice. His Grandpa doesn't know much, but after some time, around 180 chapters later, after rescuing his sister and his Grandpa. Injin had to confess that he used to be a soldier and held a potluck with his old team members.
Damn, it's a great read, so dman good. What's really great about this manga, compared to God of Blackfield, is that Ijin is a more stress-free character who knows what needs to be done with a calm, cold demeanor.
Still ongoing thru 200 plus chapters
Highly recommend reading them both!!
