I freaking enjoy season 2 xoxoxo
Person of Interest Season 2 is really good
It's a good season overall. Full of truly action-packed episodes.
So finally, Joss Carter is on the team, so whenever John needs intel, he calls her number. Sadly, though, Cal Beecher, a somewhat love interest for Carter, is dead around episode 18 or so. "It was so sudden, though, at the end of the episode lol.
I was kinda shocked that it ended too fast for him out of the blue. Like later through the season, and they had his funeral. When she got home and opened her closet, she had a list of suspects that she knew included Raymond, the bad guy, but did not suspect Alonzo Quinn or Patrick Simmons. "I might be wrong lol".
Carl Elias remains in jail throughout this season, and Finch visits him while they play chess. In episode 10, John is in prison, Carl Elias was his friend, kinda lol... Thankfully, nobody knew who he was when John, his former partner, Kara Stanton, crashed into the FBI agent in episode 12.
This led both John and Mark Snow to upload a computer virus to the machine. By the end of episode 13, Mark Snow tricked Kara Stanton, and they both perished in the explosion, leaving John alive.
Another character who appears about three times is the Chinese guy, Leon Tao, "The guy who plays the secondary villain in Rush Hour." Man, he's hella funny tbh lol. 3 times the charm lol.
Shaw and Root appear in the middle of the season. Shaw does become an ally for Reese on and off, not full-time until Season 3. On the other hand, Root is more like the Villain for the good guy. More like the Robot.
My favorite episode is when John Reese had to find the couple and realized that they had set themselves up to be unfaithful to each other.
What's really cool is that at the beginning of that episode, John goes into the building and follows them, copies the keycard, and walks into the elevator. I love his demeanor and attitude in this season. It's so cool.
Finch and his wife appear during flashbacks a lot of times to the point that one character from the casino episode in Atlantic City tells him that he must come back to his wife, and it's never too late.
Lionel Fusco, on the other hand, is a really good mysterious character throughout this season. And I freaking find it funny about how the actor's face is when his emotions are brought up. It fits the character so well. One point, he's protecting this lady at a shoot-out; the second, he's on a date. And third, he starts making faces at why he's quiet for a while when Carter questions him.
One final theme throughout the mid-season is the so-called machine. The AI machine that Finch created to help people every day
Overall, it's really a good season. The best season for me overall
And now onto the 3rd season.
I have another Fun fact.
All of them are highly decorated actors from all films and Tv shows from the 90s through mid-2012. Shows like Lost, The Sparanos, Flashpoint, and any tv show you may recognize them from the late 90s to mid-2000s lol.
