What Happend In 7.4?
The recent patch gives us a very, very heavy story on Krile's identity. Even though it wasn't enough in 7.0, where we at least met her parents at the Golden City. We pretty much never got the chance to have her story since 7.0, only just here and there. She tries to speak up and ask questions, yet never actually does because the Warriors of Light are too busy dealing with other issues, such as Calix, the robots, and numerous other things.
This patch alone gives us a clear view of her people, the world they reside in, and accepting that who you are, despite recanting that we may want to come back, even though going back could harpen us to move forward.
We soon find out that where we are going is not too far from the golden city, but deep and far in the outskirts, down below. The only way we can go there is by helicopter.
After clearing the caves in the MSQ Dungeon, we soon discover people resembling her kind. We met a man who is the grandson of one of the leaders in the city. We help them defeat the monsters and restore power in their world.
The grandmother knew Krile's parents and told her that she should move forward; if she stayed behind, she wouldn't have been able to venture into the outside world anymore. It would kinda downplay the sacrifice that Krile's parents made for her.
With heavy hearts, the warriors of light say goodbye to her people. And now, these people can finally have the will and power to once again go about their day. Since you know, Thomas the Train can no longer disturb the peace lol haha.
We soon get a very interesting cutscene that may explain what is going on. Calix is not in his normal body but inside a teddy bear lol.. we did see a new villain/new character hugging that teadybear. She freaked out lol when we noticed her lol.. During that cutscene towards the end, Calix is suggesting that this world needs an ending, and it needs to end right now. Whether or not it happens, it needs to end.
The Finale Of The Normal Raids 7.4
Meanwhile, for the ending of the normal raids. I would say it is pretty good. We now know why this tournament began. And just like the solution nine narrative about collecting souls to stay alive. The director got himself in big trouble and cursed himself, turning him into a dragon beast, turning him to stone. He didn't mean this to happen, but he did it for the sake of others.
In the end, we defeated the dragon director and restored peace. And now the people in this tournament can no longer be afraid of losing their souls once they are defeated.
I would say when you defeat the last normal raid tier boss, it will come back for the second time, so don't forget about that lol. You must be fast and pay close attention. All the others, though, are quite easy to defeat.
I just think this raid series is a better way to slip in the timeline for 7.0 mid-way through in a brilliant way.
I Can't Wait For 7.5!!!!!
I also can't freaking wait for the finale of the FFXI alliance raid storyline. I just think that the last two alliance raids are freaking good tbh. Freaking really good. Just like the raid storyline in Solution 9, the whole story slips quite well at the entrance of the golden city near the forest of Yak T'el, and how Sareel Ja survives the fall and takes on his revenge against us, bringing out FFXI bosses to us.
Patch 7.5 is going to be around when the NA Fanfest begins, and we will get info on 8.0 details.
