I am super Excited!!! just 1 more week left!!!
I have been really excited about this title since last year. If you have seen demos and previews, then you will know that it's going to be a scary game.
Grace is the daughter of Alyssa Ashcroft. Alyssa Ashcroft, the woman who was in Resident Evil Outbreak games. Her mother was an investigator who nearly found the truth until Dr. Gideon unalive her in the hotel.
Grace is an FBI agent in finding and analyzing stuff; she's not a combat character, unlike Leon, who is more of a combat character.
There are 3-4 plotlines in Re9.
- Leon is trying to find a cure for his raccoon city syndrome. If Leon can find it, this could save anyone who has it.
- The second plot is why the bad guy, Dr. Victor Gideon, wants Grace's blood? And who is she, by the way?
- Who is the little girl?
- Who, what, and why Dr. Victor Gideon is doing all of this in Re9.
The main or so bad guy
From what I learn from the RE9 Giant Bomb quick looks. In certain key moments in the story, it will switch from Leon to Grace or Grace back to Leon. Both characters will interact in the same place. For example, when you play as Grace, you will open certain key doors where Leon will be able to just go and use his ax. Or maybe Leon could go to the door thanks to Grace, who opened it earlier. You could maybe save an item for when it's Leon or Grace's turn.
Leon and Sherry plus the rest are affected by this so need to find a cure. Maybe the girl with super powers can help?
Leon's corny macho lines are going to be there as well, lmao hahaha.
There will be counterattacks. For example, Grace will inject a special blood that will overload the zombie to explode. I think when the big baby monster comes after you, and you're in that lit area, it will stop in its tracks and go back. Not sure how safe it is when you're in a so-called safe area. Enemies might open the door and spook you.

Any piece of music composed or performed as a memorial to a dead person or persons. This could be a memorial looking at Racoon city, paying respect to those who passed away.

It's about the hands of a warrior overcoming death, and that no matter what, nothing will block their way. And maybe accepting a game over despite trying their hardest.
Overall, I am excited for RE9 on 02-27-2026.
The trilogy RE 7-9 is leaning more towards Mythical supernatural Science stuff
