July Update 2026
On July 12- 13, my family and I went to my grandma's younger sister's funeral in Stockton, California; she passed away last month at the age of 86.She was a loving grandma who helped my parents raise me and my cousins and uncles.
It was great catching up with my cousins and uncles, whom I usually talk to on Facebook. We only stayed in Stockton, California, for two nights. We stayed at the Hilton/Hampton hotel.
I would say that Hiltons/Hamptions hotels are really good compared to a Motel 6. It’s clean. The breakfast was free. But the one we went to from the other side in Stockton didn't have free breakfast, and it cost about 25 bucks for four, so for 4 people. But overall, it was great tbh.
However, it was hot and humid, and the state of California is so old and dry that I don't like the vibes over there. No disrespect to those who are living there or stuck living there due to financial difficulties, or who just don't wanna move. The more I stay over there, the more it just gives me the ick lol. I just love where I live haha.
TSA was quick and easy, and going to the airport went smoothly as well.
Computer Doom
My feelings on the current computer RAM crisis are that it’s kinda best to buy now and wait later lol. Currently, the news on this is that Valve has said it won't get cheaper any time soon.
Moore's Law is dead; he mentioned on his show that it could get better soon, or so in 2028. And since the Chinese CMXT RAM company may help include theirs in the market to help ease consumer confidence for next year, but who knows if it will.
At this point, it doesn’t matter where it’s coming from; at least it’s helping.
However, as I said in my earlier blog, I am ok with what I have at this moment; I just may get more storage from this brand since it's a good price and it works really well.
Since Steam OS was released to the public, from what I see, it is pretty good.
My feelings would lead me to buy a battery expansion for my Pecron E1000ELF solar generator. It’s only 699 lol… or maybe 599 if it does go on sale on Amazon for the holiday season.I would love to upgrade my Anker DC 300 to something I just found online called BLUETTI Handsfree 2 Backpack Power Station.
It’s cool, and the capacity is 512 Wh with a 700-watt inverter. On the subject of a solar generator
I finally tested two 100-watt panels in series on my Pecron E1000LFP, and it only pulls around 160 watts on a sunny day, and it charges. It was at 86%, meaning it could be charged for about 1 1/2 hours to charge to 100% When I have free time or am selling flowers at my farm on the roadside curb, I would try 300watts and see how that will go with the Fan going.
But for now it’s just grind grind grind.
August Update 2026
Around mid-Aug, we finally found a Trailer to stick it in our farm, and we paid about 9,700 bucks. It's a 2008 32ft trailer, and it's like 8 feet wide, with the side door opening to give more space. Sadly, we need to fix the roof, and that's gonna cost us about 5K lmao.
It has a decent-sized bathroom, a bunk bed, and a queen-size bed.
The owner who sold us the trailer is a nice couple in their 70s lmao.
The idea for us having a trailer is that we don't wanna deal with signing papers and annual inspections for the apartment that we reside in. If we cancel it after Mother's Day, we could move in and not deal with it. Plus, it's gonna save us a whole lot on gas. But for now, we're gonna find funds to fix the roof and do a test on what it's like during the winter.
The owner of the farm is a nice, loving lady who loves our people. So she did say it was ok for us to move into the farm.
The rent is similar to our apartment, but with so much freedom and no one bothering us- and no one parking in our spot anymore, and my mom not worrying about people outside. Man, ohh man, I can't wait.
Man, it's gonna be cool, and you know dreams can come true tbh.
I did charge my Pecron power station with 300 watts of solar power in series, and it did work, charging around 250watts-270 watts. It does the job, though.
Video Games?
The next thing on my mind is that I am excited for MGS4 to be released on Konami MGS Remaster Vol. 2 this Thursday, the 27th of August. That game is gonna cost 59.99.
I can't wait for the finale of FFXIV Dawntrail Patch 7.6: Trail to the Heavens Part 2. And we only have 4 months to go, OMFG!!!.
I'll be honest, my time on Dawntrail for this is a hit-and-miss lmao. Well, it all changed when patch 7.5 came out. But I stopped grinding a month later. That will change when the finale comes out soon, around early September, during the 1st or 2nd week.
This whole summer, I didn't have the chance to actually play video games at all. Only for an hour, and that was it.
Yeah, computers are stupid and freaking expensive!!!
My family and I went to Best Buy, and the computers, from laptops to prebuilt desktops, were around 1,100-3K. RTX 5070 is now $899 lmao. AMD 7600 is around 349, lmao. Yeah, I am not expecting myself to upgrade my RTX 3060ti computer anytime soon. Except to upgrade more storage.
Damn you, AI!!!!!
Enjoy What You Have!
I am deeply broke, but I will be able to pay off my car, the rent for the trailer on my farm, and Comcast cable/internet.
Let's not forget I also have to pay rent for this site as well, lmao.
I am mad, but I at least have funds to pay my bills. That's more important than anything.
It's best to save money to buy food and keep on saving until the next economy goes down.
Business for my flowers this year is doing great, as it has been every year since COVID. Every year, no matter how the economy is doing, people u know what to enjoy: coming out to the farmers market and enjoying local stuff. I am grateful that people support us deeply.
My overall feelings on everything else
I don't watch the news or get updates on anything except video games lmao. Too much bad news every day. Too many opinions on the Net, too many voices. Whom do we believe?. Who is right and who is wrong?
The internet is the worst place to read comments and their opinions since most of them are just fakes; they can say whatever they want unless it pays their bills.
Like, my Dad kept telling me that if I joked about something, he would say What if that happened to you, huh? What are you gonna do about it? If that were you in that situation
It gets so ugly that it can turn you and your friends against each other, and that's the ugliest thing ever.
That's why I don't comment on politics on a friend's Facebook post lmao. Because it's whatever.
I coin this as the Offline generation.
Meaning not joining conversations since they don't involve you. Not publicly putting yourself out there. And just focus on you and yourself IRL. And live the way you want in a way that doesn't hurt people or hurt yourself.
Ending Thoughts
Soo yeah, those are my thoughts. I am pretty much offline since I am soo busy. Turning on a computer is such a chore, so I just watch videos on my phone and play GTA 4: The Ballad of gay tony on my Steam Deck. But!! There will be more content soon!!
