#FFXIV

Concise description of lake photo for screen readers or if image fails to load.

Finally, Dawntrail's finale is out, and it was short and somewhat sweet. It left me scratching my head because I want more, but we are left waiting longer.

As much as I was wrong about the 6.1 series and its own Faults surrounding lesser content and the failed Island Sanctuary content.

7.0 MSQ was somewhat a complicated mess, with so many things such as Luk Wamat, who's the father, not enough time surrounding Krile's story, and many other things.

At least 7.1 and onwards we have more open-world content such as occult crescent and Cosmic Exploration. And the story gotton abit better but falls short when not making sense on why that happen or abandoning a certain character further in the back burner due to criticism.

But... DawnTrail did things right than post Endwalker content.

the Godless Realm Saga actually started in 6.1. We actually went to another domain world, just like when we went to The First in ShadowBringers. Although it was in the post-6.1 series. It shows us that even if Golbez was the real bad guy, it wasn't meant as a real threat but as the frustrations of a dying world that needed help.

Post Endwalker spoilers

First off, the Godless Realm Saga actually started in 6.1. We actually went to another domain world, just like when we went to The First in ShadowBringers. Although it was in the post-6.1 series. It shows us that even if Golbez was the real bad guy, it wasn't meant as a real threat but as the frustrations of a dying world that needed help.

He desperately needed help so badly he decided to do anything that needed to be done, even if it wasn't the right thing. Doing things that didn't make sense. And that's why we had to calm him down and tell him that it's not the end of his world and there's hope for him and his people.

By bringing him to the first, it brought him joy and a sense of self that it's not just him whose world is suffering, but many others. That's why he decided to turn face and become the good guy. Sure, it was kinda confusing for us to figure out what we were dealing with.

How Long Will It Last??

Back then, my feelings were, wtf is going on, and what's the point of it? Thanks to the last two Fanfests, especially 7.55, I realized I have had questions throughout the last 4 years: could the barrier hold any longer? What type of catastrophe will lead to the source? When is it broken?

Mini Catch Up in 7.55

In 7.55, Garlemald pretty much had monsters roaming around, and no one could understand where they were coming from. We go back to the moon and soon discover that maybe the world in the source and the reflections are opening. The barriers don't hold long enough.

Thankfully, we catch up with Golbez and Zero. Knowing that we could finally go back and meet up with them was surprising. Sadly, it was short and sweet. Thanks to the key of ethos and through our feelings and thoughts, we were brought to them. The golden bridge opened up a portal for us to travel to them. We, the main character, can only see this portal, and no one else can see it.

With no Gods anymore, what will be our main backup, or isn't it just us?

Thankfully, since Heavensward and throughout the whole game, we, the Warriors of Light and Scions of the Seventh Dawn, have created a coalition of allies throughout the source. Especially the new world, Tuliyollal. With all the people we have met, can they take care of themselves when we are away? Even with the allies we have met in each reflection, can they help themselves when we aren't there?

It All Make Sense From The Evercold Trailer

And that's where we land on EverCold. Not technically on EverCold, but going there. After catching up with everyone else on what's going on with the solstice and the winteriers. Calix had said that both he and Halmurt are heading to the fourth reflection where the world is frozen with ice.

We try to activate ethos once more; suddenly we hear a lady calling out Why..., why...? and then, when we close our eyes, we see a woman as we are being transported to the fourth. Both Einstein and Alphinaud join us as we land on a floating island covered in ice. And OMG, it's exactly what happened in the Evercold trailer.

And who saved us from those things!!!

What's interesting enough was a dialogue saying that we saw a woman who just looked like Ysayle, and we wondered why both Einstein and Alphinaud were just sucked in, and none of the scions were with us.

Heck yes, our girl Visna baby!!!

When we met her and her crew, she used her wand thing to check our brand, but we didn't have any on us. Confused by this, she tried it on her crew, and it showed the same logo on Visna on the Evercold extended trailer. Alphinaud tried to explain that we are from another world, another land, far, far away.

We all pretty much know that this realm is somewhat related to our boys from Heavensward and that the feelings towards Ysayle brought them there. It may just look like her, but who knows; I'd be surprised if it was a legit shock to see the male version of Ysayle as Visna's master. Or maybe something even more than that?

One thing we learn is that each element can be near to each other. If they are near each other, there will be some form of cardiac arrest that will explode? Like when two magnets are pushing each other.

We do know that each airship will have the same enemies but with different colors, and that the Arcane Giants will terrorize them.

As we soon learn, Einstein and Alphinaud can't come back with us. Krile told Alisaie that she should stay since we don't know the power of the key, and if they all go, they would be stuck on the 4th.

Each theme is connected to FF7, FF8, and FFX Maybe some form of FF9?

Midgard, lost souls that needed to avenge them, FF7
The Loin Crest, undying love for that particular person, FF8.
The arcane giant that looks like sin from FFX.

And especially FF9 regarding Halmarut fake name and secret identity. It could be that she is the last of her people maybe revealing that she was a princess of the frost or whatever.

When you look at each quote very, very closely, from Shadowbringers to the Dawntrail Launch trailer from Sphene's speech and through the Evercold trailer, you will realize what they all mean.

ShadowBringers quotes

If you had the strength to take another step, could you do it? Could you save our world?

Dawntrail quote

With your strength, could u have held fast to that which is dear without sacrifice?

Evercold quotes

Hold fast to what you must and meet your fate without fear

Go forth, discover, unite the stars unto one. I heard someone say that this message came from Emit himself, maybe?

Let none bar your path.

Yes, we did save their world; we did it with no sacrifice, but Evercold is going through a huge sacrifice, but a sacrifice of what? Though? Are we going to fail by saving the reflection but being able to save the people? Are we going to be tricked into doing something else that will harm this reflection and many others? We will have to wait until January 2027

What we do know is that the actual place that the 4th reflection will be placed in isn't really at the Scion's base. It's going to actually cross paths somewhere up on Othard North where the clouds are there. And that's where that tree will be when it opens.

Remember, the reason monsters were roaming around Garlemald might be that a portal is loosely open. I believe when we go to the second half of Evercold, that's where the portal will open, revealing the place. Meaning the rest of the scions are standing ready for us as our backup.

By the End of this patch It all comes back around to where it began—just like in patch 6.1!. We once again continue our newfound adventure towards the Sky.
